Hello,

Welcome to Beat The Heat Camping Trip which will be located in Jabal Al Akhdar Oman.

We will be meeting at the Mezyad Border in Al Ain on the 5th of July at 7 30 PM Sharp (24.026563, 55.846718).We will be moving in one convoy to Jabal Al Akhdar.

The return date will be on the 7th of July after breakfast.

Please note that only 4x4 Vehicles will be allowed on the Mountain as there will a Check Point from Oman Police.

Things you need to do/bring along:

• Make sure your car is in a good condition (ESPECIALLY Brake Pads)
• Make sure your vehicle registration & insurance are valid.
• For Non-Emaratis:
  • VISA IS REQUIRED, please apply though the website https://evisa.rop.gov.om
  • Visa application price is 50 DHS to be paid online
  • Please ensure all information and documents are submitted correctly
  • Please insure submitting ahead of time to avoid any delay.

  • Residency Visa should be valid for at least 6 months at the day of entry.
  • Passpost should be available at all borders.
• For Emarati Nationals:
  • Emirates ID is required only to pass borders.
• Please bring all your Camping Gear including Tent, BBQ equipment, sleeping bags, and Warm clothes incase it gets cold.
• Please bring at least 2 bundles of wood as it might get cold at night.
• Bring enough supply of food and drinks for yourself and your passengers as there will be no food provided there, and no close supermarkets.
• Most importantly, dont forget to bring your smile.
