Internationally, October is known as the Pink Month, the month of Breast Cancer Awareness. A month to support breast cancer sufferers, charities, and remember those who have fallen victim to this disease.
For 2022, UAEOFFROADERS is proud to share its 13th anniversary/Opening Season party with the Annual Pink Drive. The Pink Drive is a yearly event created to raise awareness for breast cancer, showing support to those fighting it, remembering those who lost the battle, and celebrating life in general
This year, the trip will take us through the dunes of the Al Khatim area of Abu Dhabi, and will end with an evening under the stars. The UAEOffroaders team has organised a fun filled evening in a premier desert camp where we will be served a delicious BBQ and entertain with the usual fun and quizes and music.
so dress up yourself and your Vehicle in pink, and support breast cancer awareness.
The drive caters for all levels of driver experience and offroad 4x4 vehicles.
To cover the costs for the evenings arrangements (renting the camp, food, soft drinks, entertainment and prizes), the ticket prices are as follows
Adults (Aged 13+) - 80dhs
Children (Aged 3 - 12) - 40dhs
Babies (Aged 0 - 2yrs)
Tickets can be purchased on the day
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday 29th October
- Meeting Location: Abu Dhabi
- Drive Duration: Approx 3 hrs
- All trips will be completed by 5:30pm ( before sunset)
- Trip Level: All Welcome, a family oriented trip.
- Number of cars permitted is limited the support available.
- All participants are requested to show support by wearing something pink.
- Bring sufficient drinks and water for the drive.
Vehicle requirements:
-Offroad capable 4x4 vehicle in good working order - including appropriate fluid levels
-Full fuel tank (you wont believe how many people arrive with a quarter of a tank!!)
-Tyres in good condition
-Front and rear recovery points
-Seat belts for drivers and all passengers, children need to be in car seats suitable to their ages and weights.
-For those vehicles that require airbag/ABS system fuse removal, familiarise yourselves with the specifics of your cars.
-Flag and radio (only not required for absolute first timers).
