Mandatory requirements for this trip:
- 4x4 in good working condition, full tank of fuel.
- Driver and all passengers must wear seatbelts.
- Offroad flag mounted to your car.
- A programmable radio, e.g. Baofeng UV-5R, fully charged.
- Rated front and rear recovery points on your car.
- Tyre deflator.
- A working spare tyre.
- Items in your car must be safely stowed or tied down.

Optional for this trip (please complete your gear kit when you can):
- Rated recovery rope and two soft shackles, e.g. ARB.
- Air compressor, shovel.
- Car jack and car jack base plate.
- Fire extinguisher, first aid kit.
