Sherookee is lighter (great power-to-weight ratio when everything,s working well) and has a lower center of gravity. The one I have is engineered for mountain terrain, so when I need torque, it,s "all teeth," as Lee once described it.

The XJ has a lower center of gravity, hmm - that I didn't expect. With the Nissan's great big chassis I wouldn't expect it to have a lower one.

I've accepted my driving style requires a vehicle that takes a beating, so I'm definitely glad I moved over to Nissans. Just hoping I don't manage to drive this Xterra into the ground.
