Compressor question.

Wed Aug 21, 2013 10:23 am

I want to buy a compressor and have found two that I like:

http://www.roadrunneroffroad.com.au/ARB ... -12V-tyres costing 1500aed

http://www.bushranger.com.au/black_max_ ... hReGbwzMxU costing 699aed.

I like these due the size as I don't have much room. I like the ARB as I can have it fitted inside my bonnet, but is the ARB worth the more money?

Thanks.

Yes alva they are all worth it. I have my arb single piston as one you posted and still going strong after 2.5 years. They are so good that i bought without hesitation the heavy duty dual piston one as well. The only thing ive had to chnge so far after 2.5 years was the air hose as i wasnt paying attention to the let compressor cooldown after inflating 4 tires, the hose melted from nozzle and blew off. My bad hehe.

I have tried the bushranger and a norm with them is having the gauge always configured wrongly. ( gauge shows 65psi when it only at 35psi) and numerous people have had same problem + find hard to connect hose nozzle to compressor always.

Thats my 2 fils if it helps. Arb is better choice

I tried both, if you like the ARB as you can have it fitted inside your car bonnet then yes it worth the money, if no the bushrange will do same job as the ARB.

Did you find the 'Store' tab at the top, just to the left of the "advanced search" field?
Ayoob snuck that in there a while back. :-)

Hello, thanks for the advice, I ended up going for the Bushranger Max-Air 2 as it was cheaper than the ARB compressor and filled up quicker. That would have been great until I was at the Hunting and Equestrian exhibition last week and they were selling the ARB compressor for 900aed, 600aed cheaper than I saw at the ARB store. Oh well.
