FJ shocks?

Sun Mar 08, 2015 3:06 pm

Hello gang!
I was inquiring today with Radman 4x4 about Fox shocks for FJ Cruiser and the answer was AED 13500 (adjustable) including front springs!
The price came as a shock to me as I didn't expect much above 3000.
It also raise a question about springs. Is it necessary/advisable to change the springs with the shocks or just changing the shocks is enough?
If I do have to change both shocks and springs, are there reasonable alternatives out there that don't go beyond AED 4000?
Many thanks in advance!

As far as i know about "FOX" there is a duplicate brand which is less expensive.
The Price you have mentioned 13k+ is definitely the original one & recommended.
Other option is Old man emu for the price range. Complete spring & shock change is the best solution & will serve you better.

But 13k dh?!
Surely that kind of expenditure isn't necessary.

Thank you for your inputs, Zee mee!
I've asked three different offroaders about this issue so far and I got three different answers.
