Hi-Lift Tube Mounts for BajaRack

Does any one have any experience in mounting a hi-lift horizontally with these? I'm just concerned that the mount will twist and the hi-lift will decorate the Cruiser!! I am mounting them on a Baja Rack but want to do it horizontally for easy access.
