I realize it's an old post now - but, I wanted to say: "that's a good eye right there - spot on!" 8)

That, or the guy had a very heavy right foot and loved to stay in 1st all the time LOL

Couple of 2006 Wranglers (AT) from the first owners with agency maintenance history. Price ranges from 40k-45k. Can't judge if it is a fair price for a almost 7 years old car!

TJ 2006 if its clean one and stock
You will get it for 38k minimum
Of ourse mileage and modifications will increase the value a bit
If its cheaper that means it has issues or the owner wants to get rid of it

In some of the GCC specs off-road jeep cherokees I have seen hood slighted lifted, may be an inch or half. Is it done as an extra support to cooling fan or cherokees have overheating problem if driven with closed hoods?

regardless of being GCC or imported , ppl are doing this just to assist the air circulation inside the engine room because there is not much space
i have tried this and didnt help me alot so i put it back in place , if the car has a heating problem lifting the hood won't help
