Looking for good Mussafah workshop for Nissan

Sat Apr 18, 2015 11:20 pm

Hi guys!

After long thinking (2 years at least) I finally decided to get a 2nd car for longer distance camping trips. So I got a 2009 basic Nissan Xterra. The problem is that this is the basic model and it has no cruise control which I definitely need for longer distance trips to not get a cramp in my leg.

Therefore.. can anybody recommend a good workshop in Mussafah that has sufficient experience to install the original cruise control in an Xterra?

many thanks!

Hi Patricio,

First let me welcome you the Neyssaaaan family.

From my point of view, I do not know any workshop capable of installing a cruise control module, nor do I think I would trust anyone other than the manufacturer (not even the agency) to install one.

There have been several reports in the media over the past few years on people adding these modules to their cars and having them behave in strange manners (both OEM and third party ones), which then lead to dangerous situations..

Pls consider these points fully and research them before going ahead!!!

Best of luck.

+1 Lee .. if the car is not originally equipped with cruise control then don't risk it .. my friend made the agency install it for him but still after some time it had some issues .. it was a jeep.

Do some search and ask more .. Wishing u all the best Patricio.
