Scavenger wrote:i was just about to mention saramy. what we could do is rent 2 bulldozers. take them to saramy, let them dig a 6 metre wide+2 metre deep+10 metres long trench or channel. then get a water tanker and let him fill it up wth water and then just add the SAND. and abra-cadabra. we have mud. We could make a competition out of it.

If you want mud, then load up and come to my house. This is one of our small rice paddies after plowing 3 days ago for the first dry season crop and no, the water was already there. It's only knee deep water wise...mud, hehe..you should have seen the Kubota! :smiley3:

I vote for the Thai rice paddy 8) need a buffalo to get to the other side...

Where and what is Saramy? Is it saltwater marsh near the sea or fresh water mud?

Scavenger has the right idea: bulldozer and water tanker. Unless it rains or there's a natural muddy area (like Saramy?) - just outside Al Ain after it rained last year was perfect. But we need rain first!

The water also created these weird little canyons in the dunes, which were a lot of fun!

YE i love that pic (eroded sand canyon). Sarami PR is the area next to Al Dhafra Airbase at the end of Mussafah, and before al wathba area. It has 1km x 1km large salt flats. We could go there dig ourselves a muddy course and do a competition. MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
