Off Road Insurance

Sun Jan 31, 2010 7:50 pm

Hi People.... As I know that there are only two companies that offer off-road insurance. Is Noor Takaful one of them (I know AXA is other one).

Not sure if its ok to take names, but any idea how Noor Takaful is ?

Any experiences with them ?

Yep,
I agree with JC, RSA are good, and I have insured my JK with them offroad too, and they recently settled a claim I filed without any fuss.
AXA are also good, but pricey. Don't know about Takaful.

Thanks JC. Thanks Nasser. I gave a call to Essa and he will arrange a quote for my future Xterra. I also called Takaful call center and they really do offer off-road insurance as well. So now we have 3 companies in the fray.

I have my Pajero insured with Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance. The insurance policy was a package offer on the vehicle by Mitsubishi. I have also confirmed with the insurer that the policy covers offroad as well.

So you could count Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance among the companies that offer offroad insurance, however note that they do not have an office in Abu Dhabi.
