Hi all - sorry I've been away so long!!! Didn't mean to but just got side-tracked with stuff...

So, what's new? :)

Ah, here's my latest article, which you might like: http://weekenduae.com/2015/01/15/weeken ... and-dunes/

It's about:

Also, last month a buddy finally sold me his 1988 Nissan Patrol, "capsula", so I'm really happy and now fixing!!!

Looks like this:

Ah yes! Just met a few uaeoffroader bosses a few hours ago - who? who? LOL - and that's why I was reminded of this awesome bunch of people here on uaeoffroaders! 8)

Hope all's going well for you all

Yo, PR, welcome back!
I,ve recently gotten a capsula, myself, tho mine,s a bit younger than Scary (2005).
Took 'er out on the sand yesterday and quickly realized that transitioning from a Nissan to a Jeep is a helluva lot easier than moving in the other direction. But all shall be well, inshallah.

We,ll do our first Club trip together tomorrow, and I,m looking forward to it! :flame:

Hope so! It's been a long time since I've been out with a club! Mostly I'm out alone or few friends because I need to stop and take photos, and walk around, and stop, and take photos, and.... other drivers hate me!!! LOOOOL

Actually LOL next I need to take photos of this! Can you guess what it is? :)

Thanks Kalimero :)

Denasora, I have a sample and it's really well made. Genius idea, but weak point is it needs somewhere to hang, and we don't have many handy tree branches here... my family's fav way to shower is to make lots of small holes in the cap of a water bottle and then just hold it upside down over the head and squeeze. Works perfectly, uses little water, and there's always a plastic water bottle available! I was hoping this SpaTap would beat that, allowing for a no-hands shower, but it needs a suspended hook or... wait! I got it!!!!! LOL Thanks Denosora, for listening, LOOOOL, I got the solution! I'll add a velcro tab to the inside of our toilet tent, so one can hook up the SpaTap, and enjoy a free-hands shower!!!

OK, needs testing soon! But not today, as it's friggin' snowing just out of Al Ain!!!!!! LOOOOOOOL

Have you seen?

I was thinking I,d hang it off a pole extending off the top of back end of my car. I hadn,t finished thinking through how I might rig up a big flexible ring to hang a curtain from, but I have an idea or two. I,ll have to go in this direction since I don,t have a toilet tent, but sounds like that,ll work great for your gang! :rain:
