Thanks folks, have reset one and it seems to be now accepting a charge and not giving me annoying messages any more - hooray!

I'm also going to look for a car badderry charger in dradon mart when I next call in there for some disposable plastic electronic items (which will cease working by the time I get home again) and crunchy bamboo chunks coated in green tea leaves.

I got some car chargers for Quangshengs, cost about AED 20 apiece.

They don't like being charged and used at the same time, so as much as possible I keep both charged and swap them around if need be.

Or for car, my backup system is a mini converter hooked in cigarette lighter connected to quasheng house charger. Hehehe

Cool, well done 8) so it seems it was a software glitch.
