Rear spring leaves for xterra

Mon Nov 23, 2015 10:16 am

Good morning!
I would like to buy spring leaves for my Xterra and have my own garage install them for me. I have searched all over the internet and spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the Mussafah Nissan and have come up with nothing. I plan on replacing my suspension over winter break but the leaves are driving me crazy and I want to replace them before I head out for the mountains in Oman for National Day. Should I just walk up to the Nissan service center and ask to buy them right then and there or is there a better option in Mussafah?
Thank you!!!

Check out Dollar Auto Works in Dubai.

For the Xterra, the best value for money kit are the Ironman 4x4 ones. They're 2" lifts, but I've not seen any stock-ride kits.

For the Ironman kits, the rear and front springs are the same, but the shocks change. I have the most expensive ones, which are the foamcell pros. Very hard but also very effective and never bottom out.

Agree Andrew...
Foam Cell Pro's the best and in my opinion almost the same results as some of the expensive fancy ones....
Very beefy and solid built which actually helps dissipate heat away...
I have used the same on my FJ and very much satisfied.
Opted for the Iron man comfort springs instead of the ones that come with foam cell pro..not too hard or soft...just enough and great on road performance too.

Good point, as they install the performance springs as standard!

Because they're a lot harder, I have to carry my offroad gear with me at all times, otherwise I'd get too much axle hop.

I'm happy to put up with up, as I'm usually pretty rough on my suspension offroad, but the comfort springs are a good idea if you're a bit more casual and/or it's a family car.

I'll have a an original, new set for sale shortly. Mine got replaced under warrantee this week, but am getting a lift kit in a couple of weeks which will again replace rear springs...
