The most effective offroading rigs are two - none other than the Nissan SWB and the Jeep Wrangler 2 door. The problem with the Wrangler is the weak axle joints and differential. It is possible to change that drive train, front and rear, with the Rubicon ones. They have them at Western Motors but it will take you back Dhs 20k.
that will also include 4:10 gear ratio and differential lock. Sell your original ones for 10k, so you end up paying 10k for a very reliable drive train and with that, surely the Wrangler beats the Nissan in performance. Don't do any further mods and you will be fine in the Wrangler.

Hahaha.....my opinion is the new Wrangler beats the Nissan in PERFORMANCE hands down. If you guys are disputing this, then you are not aware of the new Pentaster abilities.Codger wrote:No comment![]()

Pentastar might have good performance but its still using the old chassis / suspension / drivetrain and this is the issue. Maybe one day they will go with a new design that will be as stong and nimble as the Jeeps upto the mid seventies

BTW, al kurby you mentioned the performance only but you ignored alot.
this right and moreover about the new engine you can get it overheated very easy and with bit of abuse it will start ticking.Wasif Ahmed wrote:Pentastar might have good performance but its still using the old chassis / suspension / drivetrain and this is the issue. From what I heard, the ticking with the pentastars is mostly related to using low quality fuel like E87. Run it on Special or Super and it should be fine.elyassi wrote:this right and moreover about the new engine you can get it overheated very easy and with bit of abuse it will start ticking.
