Thanks but I already made up my mind to use someone else as I have visited their main offices and have inspected their transporter and am satisfied with their service and knowledge. Also they will take care of all the paperwork and offer a door to door service. The plus point is that I don't have to leave a deposit with the UAE Automobile Club if I use this company (I still don't know why the UAE Auto Club want a deposit for a car that is fully payed for and has no outstanding finance, some rules are plain silly in my opinion).

If anybody is interested and wants the contact details of the shipping company that I will be using I can supply them. They are based in Dubai ports near Alaweer auto market and vegetable market they also have a branch in Abu Dhabi and another one in Beirut. They can also ship furniture. They offer a door to door service and the only thing that you need to supply them is a copy of your passport, the mulkiya and the money and they will do everything else. I will be shipping a Lamborghini and it will cost me 5200 dirham all inclusive. Obviously the price can be slightly more or less depending on insurance and the value of your car.
When I first visited them they had a Porsche Carrera 4S and a Ferrari F430 which had just returned from Lebanon and the second time I went there they had a Porsche 997 Turbo ready to be shipped. They have a daily transporter leaving Dubai and the trip takes between 8 to 10 days.

My car is a very rare colour combination and to maintain some form of privacy I would rather not post a picture.

On another note my car arrived this morning to my house in Beirut. It took longer than what the shipping company promised but that is due to the unsettled situation in Syria. The car arrived safe and sound in the exact condition that it left the UAE in (just a little dusty) and I am happy that I used this particular company. On a plus side using this particular shipping company I didn't have to leave a security deposit with the UAE automobile club either and they took care of all the required paperwork (triptick, RTA papers, insurance in Lebanon etc.....)
First part of my journey is now complete I just hope by the time I reach Lebanon to start part two of my adventure the problems in Syria would have calmed down a little but with the attacks yesterday on the French and US embassies the situation doesn't look too promising.
