Alright. Here's one for you. Am I right in assuming that if I put 265/70/R16 (30.7 X 10.5) on the ZJ with approx 2.0" lift (and bump stop extensions) that I am less likley to be rubbing the fender (and hence needing trimming) than if I chucked on 265/75/R16 (31.something X 10.5)???????? I guess what I'm saying is ----> is it more the width or the height of the tire that leads to conflicts with the fender???? HA HAAAA!!

To be honest Rob a bit of both. It also depends on wheel width, but more about tthat another day.
Yes smaller tires are less likely to rub, and with extended bump stops you will be better off than with stock ones. The american guys seem to think that extended bump stops are a waste, but they only really flex one wheel at a time, whereas we tend to slam both into the arches at teh same time when we jump or come down from a fast side slope. I think if you get teh 265/70's you will be fine though, bt may experience some rubbing with the 265/75's with 2" lift!

a 2" lift with 3" extended bumpstops will give you plenty of room to play. I don't rub my fronts with my 2" BB and 3" BS extensions but the back rubs a little with both at 2"

Hey Tony,

think I saw your rig today driving on airport 2:45ish, if so looks cool :-) The stickers would not be legal in Dubai though :-)

Most likely was me Mike. I leave work at 02:30 so that sounds right.

Thanks mate, plenty of blood sweat and tears (really, no lies there) have gone into this rig up to now, and there is plenty more to come.
Watch this space matey! :D
