Marina is right, it is devils plunge. I have seen this picture on another forum. Plus, how could you not recognize it!

And no Wasif, I haven't converted. I have always been a fan of old landy's, or any 4x4 with limited computer interferance (Like the ZJ). As I said, old is gold buddy!

2005 3.0 liter Mitsubishi Pajero... affectionately known as Mr. Bushi!

Stock, apart from Sue's front-end 'mods' on our virgin Offroaders trip, which actually knocked the steering back into alignment...:smiley11:

My name is Vivan. I drive a stock 3.8 LWB Pajero comes with a rear diff lock. Tried a few things on the rear end to stop using the car as a grader / shovel, looks like it worked this time.. will need more testing though.

Nice one vivan, maybe you can share with the rest of the Paji owners what you did to the rear so they can also stop deepening the bowls of the UAE deserts! ;)

Yup, Devil's Plunge... and you know who named it, right? ;)

Called Devil's Plunge because if you come around and up from behind you don't feel it's very high, and then when you crest over, oftentimes following a naughty leader who doesn't inform you ahead of time, you will really feel feel the plunge!!! LOOOL (careful, only with very experienced drivers - it's a long way down).

Here is a buddy cresting Devil's Plunge:

If you like really tall dunes, with a possible approach to the top, I've got to show you what we call Farmview Dune - top of the world!

I completely understand what you are saying PR. I was playing around in the bowls behind DP and managed to pop over the top, not knowing what was waiting for me on the other side. Great thrill, but like you said, only for more experienced drivers.

I agree with Wasif, we need some secret routes from our main media guru PR. :D

No secrets, no gurus - we share friendship, respect and sand 8) Farmview is amazing because it also hides its view until you are on top. It's just south of Al Ain, on a direct line west from behind the water treatment plant. Approach from north side. If you search The National archives it was featured in the Honda quads article, with downloadable GPS track and all.

Let's see more members' rides 8) and take plenty of pics, c'mon! Where's the pride of ownership? ;)
