Ladies and gents.

Please post details and pictures of what car you are driving currently and let us get to know thme better.

Members are requested to make one post each with details and a picture of their current motor of choice with details on what has been modded on it and what is planned in the future. If it has a special name do mention that too.

Your ride is an extention of your personality and we would love to see and hear about it on this thread.

So lets begin

I drive a 2010 FJ Cruiser AKA "The Greyhound" which has been slightly tweaked. Current mods include ICON 2" lift, TRD Cat Back, K & N High Flow air filter, BFG 285/75/16 tires on TRD rims, all weather matting and a few discreet TRD badges:smiley2:

Future mods planned are TRD Cold Air Intake ( once it is actually on the market ), UNICHIP and some lights for those wild night drives our dear shairman is famous for !:smiley8:

PS : To attach pictures to your post click on the "mamage attachments" tab below and attach a file from your computer:smiley13:

Current mods are Rubicon Express 2" lift, Dynomax Superturbo cat back, AEM Bruteforce Intake system, E-fan conversion, Kumho Roadventure Mud Terrain tires in 31x10.5x15, GT rims 15x9" rims, Spydertrax 1.25" wheel spacers, daystar polyurethane bushings (rubbish by the way), crown automotive lower adjustable control arms front and rear, custom made storage unit in the trunk latched and carpeted to match.
Mods to come - Iron rock Offroad 3.5" lift kit, Dana HD front axle shaft with tube reinforcement, Crown automotive balljoints, IRO Iron cat cat back system with Magnaflow cat converter and high flow muffler, custom made rock sliders/side steps and many many more to come!

Great responce guy ....just what I was looking for.

sometimes it is hard to put a name to a face but if you post your car pics here it becomes more easy to remember who is who and does help a good bit.

Moreover when we know what others are driving and see the cars on the streets in Abu Dhbai it opens up the possibility of a nice chat or even a cup of tea together.

I request all our members Marshals and Founders to post about their respective rides here

Elsie, my family 1994 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ-80 - one of the best 4x4 vehicles I've ever had the pleasure of driving.

Almost fully stock, with front and rear lockers, cool-box, dual A/C, dual petrol tanks, and pretty amazing stuff considering it was built 16 years ago! This is the model that really made LC famous.

I bought it maybe 5 years ago in very good shape. And I do all maintenance (repairs never needed!) by myself, except changing the timing chain, which went to the dealer.

How to clean a used car properly (take it to the guys the used car dealers use):

This is how they clean the engine:

Climbs good!

Changing the front wheel bearings:

All is fully stock, except I've added an external tranny cooler... and Sumitomo Shaheen sand service tyres:

and, lastly.... it's actually my wife's car!!!!! LOOOOOL and the family camping machine.

A man after my own heart PR. Old is gold, and doing your own maintenance is much more fun than waiting for the dealer to say two days and you get it back two weks later with a list of unwanted repairs that cost more than the vehicle!
~Looks cool, and if you ever decide to get rid of it let me know. I may be interested!
