Required equipment for each level

Hello guys, below is a list of the equipment required for each level. We do not require this to be purchased in order for you upgrade to happen, but will trust that you will all respect the need for such equipment and purchase it soon after you are upgraded.
If you have any questions regarding this equipment, please feel free to PM, call, or discuss this on a trip with any of us.

Junior offroader
recovery points on vehicle
good condition tires and vehicle chassis
Flag and pole

Offroader
As above+
Radio(s)
First Aid Kit
Recovery Equipment (Rope, Shackles, shovel)
Jack and plate
Flag and pole
Tire deflator/pressure gauge
[font=&quot]Fire [/font][font=&quot]Extinguisher[/font]

Senior Offroader
As above+
GPS with offroad capability and waypoint/track log
Compressor
Ability to self recover/assist in recovery procedure if requested

Expert Offroader
As above+
Good understanding of how to use GPS
Good vehicle technical knowledge
Good recovery technical knowledge
Good navigational skills
Large first aid kit
Ability to lead/sweep/recover

Marshal
As above+
First Aid Training (soon after upgrade)
Strong leadership skills
Ability to control emergency situation
Good command of GPS usage, and ability to assist others with the same
Ability to lead/sweep/recover and direct others in all of these tasks

The above is the list of equipment we require our members to carry at all times based on their level.

We request all our members to ensure that they are in compliance of this as it might not be possible to effect upgrades if you don't carry the required stuff.

Also please not the equipment listed above is someting that is to ensure the safety and well being of all members and believe me at some point in time you will definitely need this stuff and you will then thank us for insisting that you carry the same.

Very informative and useful thread .. especially for people with poor memory like me! :)

I would add a Flash Light and a Camera as this last one became in high demand lately!

fire extinguisher is very important and if it's more than the 1 kg that comes with the car it will be excellent (i would recommend strongly for seniors to have a 4.7 kg one).

a knife, tools and a puncture kit would be also recommended for rescue/sweep team members.

i have all this equipment ,, Except the plate,, i know what is it for
but what is the plate specifications ?

Hi Bo ali.

You can get a piece of steel sheet cut to around 8"x8". That should be fine. I have cut two pieces of ply wood at around 8"x8" and screwed them together for added strength.
