Salamualaikum! I'm Hani Sawan, 28 years of age and staying in Abu Dhabi. I love to drive sports car however I found out that driving in the desert is more exciting and challenging that is why I decided to buy off road Car and I think Toyota FJ Land Cruiser is one of the best car to I've ever drove.I bought my car last November 2010 and I've been with the team 3 times and tomorrow will be my fourth and I'm very glad to join UAE Offroaders because all the members are very friendly and accommodating. I wish you all the best and I hope that the team will grow and last In Sha Allah!

I joined UAE Offroaders a few months back but have'nt yet participated in any events.
I own a FJ cruiser and let me tell you it is fantastic.
I've been on Gulf News Fun-drive this year with my two sons. We also did a few short excursions on our own.
I have done a one day desert driving course with Emirates Driving Institute.
I would love to join in the next event.
When is it ?

Even if you have driven on the sand before it's a good idea to join a rookie trip first as you will learn all about our club, the way we operate and meet some great people too
if you can't make it to that trip - keep a look out on the "Sand and Events lounge" "Junior Offroader trips" forum, and sign up when you see one to your liking. You sign up by "reply to thread" then list your name, vehicle, and mobile number in your reply.
Hope to see you in the sand sometime soon.
