Hi All,

I'm new to UAEoffroaders and wanted to introduce myself.

My name is Paul and I live in Al Bateen, Abu Dhabi. I live here with my wife Laura who is a school teacher and I am a property consultant.
I usually off road with Almost4x4 in Dubai and met a few UAEoffroaders at a joint drive. It would be great to join you on some trips as the drive to Dubai to then off road is too far. I love to dune bash and started doing this when living in Oman during 3 day desert crossing with The Guide Oman through (sometimes literally) Wahiba Sands. This got me hooked and I still make the 10 hour drive (just to get to the start point) once or twice a year to catch up with friends. I'm planning to do this in October and cant wait ! The desert is beautiful and there are usually 50 plus cars ! I added a few photographs for people to see.

I would love to ride the dunes in Liwa. I have heard this is an amazing place.
I am looking forward to signing up for an rookie / junior trip to meet people and get involved with the club!

Hi Paul
you can sign up for any of our Junior Offroader trips, keep an eye out for them, often posted on a Sunday/Monday for the following Friday.

Hi Pibarker007, welcome the group, we are a bunch of fun loving criminals, who like you just want to go out, get dusty and return home safe and sound just to do it all again the following weekend.

I have done the Wahibas 3 times to date, once with the PDO Wahiba challenge, a great event with approx 120 - 140 cars. Loved it and hope to go there again this season.

we work closely with the guys from Almost and they are considered an extension to the UAEOffroaders family, so you are already a member of the family.

Keep an eye out for a newbie or rookie, am sure one will pop up soon!!!!:smiley2:

I just looked at the PDO Wahiba challenge - I didnt know about that one! It looks great.. I'm thinking about joining that one also now!
