Hi all. Wayne here.
My wife Carmen and i are brand new to the UAE (Abu Dhabi) and are the proud owners of possibly the cheapest 2006 Pajero SWB auto out there (paid 30k
). The Pajero is good nick and will, i presume be OK for light desert work? If not it will have to do for now....
Where is the best place to 4x4 accessories in AD?
I have some limited 4x4 training/experience back in oz and look forward to learning about the desert and meeting you all.
Peace
Wayne (and Carmen)

As KhaledSS said, you should be able to get a good start in the Pajero, tho if you get bit by the offroading bug, you may eventually want to upgrade. That said, please check your Pajero to be sure it has recovery points front and back. If you don't have one at each end, that's your number-one priority to take care of before your first trip. Any other equipment you can acquire little by little (such as a compressor, a snatch-strap), or borrow just to get yourself started (such as a 2-way radio).
Looking forward to seeing you out there soon!
