Now is good wadi season, btw; getting a bit too hot for deep desert. In the hot months I tend to do night BBQs up a nearby dune and not much driving.

Best wadi I did recently is Wadi Dhum, in Oman, outside Ibri - a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y spectacular!!!

Yep, but they are US Specs.

Actually, the dealers in the UAE do not market the Rubicon. However, 6 Rubicons were ordered by a big shot here in the UAE, and when they arrived, he changed his mind The dealer was then compelled to sell them and Ahmed is one of the lucky six. Another one is owned by Gladiator. I was also supposed to have taken owndership of a Black One but I could not complete the deal on time. Then I went for the Sahara.
