Hi. I'm Neil, husband of marina who is working hard to organise trips both when I'm in Al Ain and when I'm working offshore. I've been in the UAE for three years and been offroad driving for about 2 and a half. We're trying to set up a group of like-minded people to venture out into the sands around Al Ain. Keep an eye on Marina's posts as she's the one to arrange everything. I'm far too busy when i get home to do so as she's always got some job for me to do either to our home or her car. :~)

My name is haytham. I am an Egyptian who grew up in Pittsburgh Pa. I have lived all my life between the US, the UAE and a little time in Egypt.
I bought my first 4X4 car about a year ago. I haven't the slightest idea on driving offroad. Tried it once and it was a complete failure. Had to be hauled out of the sand by a Nissan Patrol.
My car is a 2004 Kia Sorento.
Hope to get some experience from hanging with you guys.
