Welcome Andymax - I remember getting my first 4x4 in the UAE and rushing out right behind my house to test it in the sands... and got so incredibly, miserably stuck that the local whom I finally flagged down to help me just walked around the car scratching his head in bewilderment at how someone could dig his car down so deep!!! LOOOOOOOOL

and now I look at the same patch of sand in wonder at how could anyone possibly get stuck in 1" of hard sand in the wadi!

I'm Mohamad Mikati, got an FJ since december last year, yet haven't been offroading... seems interesting... got some kit from ARB, just in case :P, but never actually went too deep in...
