This thread is dedicated on how members heard about our club in a way this will help us a lot in many thing

so please share it with us and will start by my self hehehehehe

well we were a bunch of guys off-roading and decided to share our hobby with all off roaders and people who wanna have fun and see the beauty of the desert >

I was out one evening with friends and in the group was offroader Matt (Mathias, to us). I knew he was going out in the desert regularly (in those days), so when I saw him, I asked what's the story.
That very evening I signed up as a member on the website and enrolled on the first available trip and all trips after that!

About 3 years ago, I heard about a rookie trip from the guy who lived next door to me. I went in my capsula, and my neighbor went in his Galloper. At the first dune, his 4WD disengaged and stopped working. He has never been in the desert since, whereas *I*...

became completely addicted and am now proud to be a Marshal!

One day a few years ago a not so little birdie chirped me on the phone with the good news that now there were options available and one could actually choose between several off roading clubs in good old Abu Dhabi and since then I havent looked back.

Proud to be member no 41 and a Marshal but very sad that I havent been able to come out and play with my dear friends for so long.

Inshallah things are about to change and you all will be seeing more of me and THE GREYHOUND !!!

I heard about it because JC worked with someone I knew in Al Ain and his wife had signed up for a rookie trip and recommended it. I signed up straight away. At the time, I thought I'd just come out a few times and learn how to drive in the sand just in case I ever came across sand while I was offroading around the UAE and Oman. I had no idea how addictive it would be... and so here I am still hooked 3 years on!!

I was looking for a offroading club becoz I was going to desert wd my friends almost every friday.....so wen I search I found uaeoffroadersssss....I m here now...addicted

I found the site on the internet when i was surfing for off-raod drives in the UAE... Joined in and liked the discussions on the forum... really informative... Keep it up guys... also the people here are great...
