Is there any possibility of getting a list of petrol stations that sell the high octane "super" gas in the Abu Dhabi Emirate ?

As it is not sold at all the pumps it would be good to know which pumps you can get it for sure !

I have a friend who works for adnoc, he is part of uaeoffroaders and drives a xterra. BTW he fills up eplus in his tank (for one year I was filling up special) he said it dones not make a difference they have done test and proved it since then I have been filling up eplus - the pertol quality is really good here in the UAE.

High octane fuel is only needed if the engine demands it, it is not needed for most of the Japaneese models.

The site for the GPS POIs is a communitee so unless someone uploads it, it wont be available.

knowledge is sharing!!! :)

Yes what you are saying is by and large true of older cars.

with regards to the FJ the owners manual has two different power ratings, one on regular and one on hi test, so I prefer to go with the super. The EUC is very sensitive and is also adaptive, has a learning ability too and re maps the timing according to the grade of fuel used.

The other thing is my UNICHIP has an agressive map that is only compatible with hi octane so I am further inclined toward it.

And super burns better and its good for the life of the engine.
