On my previous Jeep i had:
- IPF Lights Sticker
- Airaid Sticker
- OME sticker
- 2x large Rubicon Sticker
- Flowmaster sticker
- Club sticker
- NL sticker
- Salik sticker :P

Cops pull up next to me... roll down the window... i roll down my window... cop: "nice jeep" ... me: "thanks" ... lights are green and he drives away...

Guess it's all about their mood and also i think they are particular about posting a website and email address on the car...

On my new Jeep i only have a NL sticker... guess i will keep it like that and save my 200dhs for a parking fine in the tourist club area :D

Not so much "thread resurrection" as "exhumation" but:

this did make me wonder if anyone who has their car windows covered in UAE flags and stickers representing the National Day will get pulled and fined. I doubt it somehow.

They targeted the .com stickers because if you want to advertise a business on your car, you must apply for a police permit and pay a fee (and it's not cheap!!!).

If it's a personal sticker and carefully placed so it doesn't stand out too much, it's normally alright, unless the officer is in a bad mood.

If instead the sticker is covering half your windshield and all your rear window, you will get smiles and two thumbs up!

For national day richard, the rules this year released by police is that you can cover all windows except for driver, front passenger, and complete front windshield. And you can cover youre car body in stickers but number plate and actual car color must be visible. This is all allowed up till sunday 12am which then all will be illegal. They will usually stop you and just ask that you remove it infront of them - stickers,........

I see plenty here that are not following those rules! Loads have the top half of the front screen blanked out, for example.

been there done that. got fined, and moved along.

I stick to the one sticker at the back of the car.

should they tell me anything with regards to that One sticker. I will tell them, why don't you pull every car out of al-masoud auto.. or any other car agency that sticks their stickers on the cars they sell and get free publicity. Debate the idea. Other than that, if you do get fined, you can easily go to the officer in muroor when you renew your car registration and show him the issue.

If you get pulled off for a small sticker or two.. thats just lame, I honestly will go to court if i get pulled off for a sticker.
