I would like to announce another upgrade - Jennyd is now an Offroader.

She joined UAEoffroaders as a rookie on my mega-rookie trip back in the middle of September, and hasn't been able to keep away from the sand since!

Congratulations and well done Jenny, looking forward to seeing you out on the sand again very very soon



ps - I feel like the Queen (Great Britain) giving out all these honours on my birthday LOL :smiley8:

Thanks Queenie M! It's a pleasure to be on your birthday honour's list Thanks everybody for your congrats. It's awesome to be part of this club and to meet everyone out in the sand - definitely part of what makes the drives so much fun and what keeps me coming back! Has been really fun to learn from everybody and especially from our marshals - specially you Marina Anyway am looking forward to lots more of the same

Gonna use this upgrade as an opportunity to say thanks properly to all the marshals who've helped along the way and to some of the other people I've driven with
Marina - you are an inspiration - I have a long way to go to get to where you are - but I've really appreciated all your encouragement and the many trips you've organised for us (especially the rookie one - I wouldn't have come out without it)!
Mohanned - what can I say? You make an awesome marshal and totally deserve to be one. Thanks for your help driving out of that stuck - couldn't have done it without you - roll on the day I can do it myself! Also, your enthusiasm is totally infectious!
JC - you are sooooo cheeky!! I love it! Thanks for all your encouragement and help and advice.
Taher - thanks for coming all the way from Abu Dhabi to see if I should get this upgrade - hope it was worth the trip! On the stucks - I have got properly stuck the other two times you've been leading ya know! Thanks also for your advice - especially about braking - it's probably not obvious - but I do try to listen to ya!
Avan - thanks for the driving advice - same as Taher - I do try to listen to ya, but may not be obvious!
Ali - thanks for being so positive and encouraging!
Lee - thanks for all your cheeky jokes, and for the times you've given an alternative route or dug me out of one of Taher's stucks!
Neil - thanks for your encouragement and for digging me out of another one of Taher's stucks!
Neil (Bruce) - thanks the rookie course - you can take responsibility for starting all of this! It may be your fault that I'm so hooked - That's a good thing, just in case yer wondering.
Bipin - I feel like you've been there pretty much from the start - hanging at the back and waiting to pull me (and everyone else) out of stucks. It's good knowing you are there. Thanks also, for all your encouragement!
Bruce and Lou, Ayoob, Felicia, Hennie, Yaghi, Jeff, the other Jeff, Martino (and your wife - who drove so well on Saturday), Rosco, Angela, Richard, John - hope I haven't left anyone out - awesome being out in the sand with you all.
