Nissan Problem

dears,
i have patrol SWB with 4.5L "carburetor", the car has cut off or rpm lock at 3600 !!! so i have to shift the gear to next one which means lose momentum, or even get confuse during a side crest which could be dangerous
i went for many shops in Mussafah, they start guessing or they only fixing patrol injection engine only!! like sana shop.
when i got the car before 2 weeks and as an maintenance i changed the gas pump & filter, sparks and cables, coil
does any one face same problem or know where i can find some good garage in abu dhabi fixing nissan carburetor??

Zeer- I am having a problem with mine cutting off randomly, after it cuts off there is a lot of black smoke out of the exaust when I restart it. I'm lso having problems with the NATS nissan security immobilizer activating- I've been trying to resolve it for the last several months with no long term success so I will be watching this thread.

Zeer your problem is in the float chamber you may have to rebuild your carb as with age things wear out.

How many Kilo do you get from a full tank it could also be in the fuel/air mixture which can be adjusted

JC - with full tank its almost 300 KM, the old owner told me you have to adjust "الساعة" , but i do not know what is that!!!
fuel/air mixture sounds good start for me Bcoz i have a little vibration on the engine with idle state, where is this ma7boob garage and what i should tell him so he adjust the mixture?

Mark, i feel sorry for you, ur car case is even worst, the people told me get Patrol and u can find the spare parts in grocery shop lol, "this one is true" , and u can fix it at any garage, but i checked with almost 30 garage in Mussafah about this problem with no luck, last one when he saw me upset he said change the driver

i am surprised that sana were not able to do anything.. very strange.. because they fix carbs.

Ma7boob has mixed reviews unfortunately... i know two who hate his guttss.. and i know two who praise him. so let me do some more research and find out for you.
