Hey offroaders,
i was looking for your advice regarding a lift kit for my XJ as i am confused little bit.
i have decided to buy a complete 3 inches lift kit for my Jeep and already started my research and found out a some brands which are great as per dealrs and web sites (and i dont trust both)
any way i came out with 2 options wich i will pick one up ...

Rough Country lift kit and there is a link for the whole set here
some of you advised me not to take the rough country already but let me bring to you attention that shocks are Nitro 9000 series shocks not the Hydro 8000 series shocks
i dont know what is the difference but it seems like a second level
beside that there is a warranty on that kit for 1 year
price is affordable for this one which is around 1800 not fitted

which should come as an advanced kit (includes every thing) i dont know what is every thing i didnt speak to the salesman in details as i was shocked by the price around 4000 AED

but again if we assume that the rough country is quickly depreciated then no harm of paying more now for peace of mind later

any one can help ?

Brother I think lift kit coming copmlet set coil with shoks ob.Regarding the price have look i n quadra , teraflex the one the good in the makrket.

i hear that teraflex better than RC AS I SEE TERAFLEX INCLUDE THE ARM AND THE PLAT

Wallah mohannad both kits almost have the same almost but terafelx has few more
I just came from ramy they said terafelx is better in terms of qulity
Difference in price is 2000 almost
The question is ..... Is sand driving reqires a good qulity kit or meduim kit will work ?

In the long term yb is better am using teraflex coil since 2009 and still in exellent condition ,,, as i mentioned above go for teraflex brother even the differnt is 2000 .

ahmed... the kit on your jeep is terafelx?

PRice does not always determine quality mate. Have you had a look on XJ forum or Jeep forum to see the reviews on there? You may find that the smaller independent companies are better.

Though those ppl mainly drive on rocks and not in sands i came up with an idea
I might have the kit without the shocks

Like keeping the stock shocks but i dont if this will work for the meantime !!!

stock shocks at 3" lift will wear out the already old shocks VERY quickly. You run the risk of blowing out a shock tube or even worse, tearing the shock from the mount when at full flex.

Rock or sand, so long as you have good shocks and a full set up you will be fine, all are set up pretty much the same.
