Update..

DED have responded after they negiotiated with MotorTech. Basically came up with two options

1. If I want to get it fixed immediately I need to pay AED. 600 and they would get the Ring & Pinion locally and fix it.
2. If I can wait till the 2nd week of December they would do it under warranty. As informed they verified all corrospondence between MotorTech and the supplier and confirmed that the part(s) should be here in about 4 weeks.

I will be taking the 2nd option anyway..

Good man. You have a lot more patience than me. I would've probably hit the wall by now and ended up screwing myself over.

glad you got it sorted and some faith has been restored in motortech!

Yeah, I'd have flipped out ages ago.

Credit DED though, they got that sorted out sharpish!

oh yes, they did!! lol... anyway, I was wondering if there are others here who used them and had a different experience.. probably I was the unlucky one !

Yeah, I didn't see the previous page with the DED part, my bad. Glad you got it sorted though bud. PR, the font of all knowledge, came to the rescue again!

What a family we have here eh? Never even meeting each other in some cases and more than willing to help out. This is what I love about this club! :D
