On board Air Compressor Install

Hello,

I have installed the onboard air compressor ( ARB CKMTA 12) in my raptor under the rear seat so it is out of the way and invisible, it is also a way to protect the compressor from dust, mud and water.

I tested it on 1 tire and it took about 2 minutes to air up my 35" tire from 15 (what i use offroad) to 44 (the PSI recommended by Ford) which isnt bad i guess

I was going through the dilemma of finding a location to fit in same compressor and sure did consider fitting it under the rear seat. However, I wanted to fit the tank which comes with the model that is integrated in its own case. The reason I am a bit fixated on fitting the tank is because I wanted to take the advantage of being able to use some sort of impact wrench with the compressor.
The second reason I was a bit reluctant to have it under the rear seat is to avoid the hassle of trying to reach out to the compressor when the rear seat is occupied with passengers and/or materials (cooler, box, ... etc), but again it might not be big deal.
So, my next viable option is for me to fit it in the bed! I have not decide it yet, but sure like your clean, practical setup.

Are you able to get the hose to reach to all four tires through one door, or do you have to alternate doors ?

the hose is 6 meters so I don't think it will reach all tires from one side.. Well maybe i actually plan to have both doors on both sides wide open and slide it to the back and the front that way.

re cooler box and other items, throw them in the bed bro ill show you what I've done with mine when i see you, it is all tight and doesnt move. If you've got people on board, get them out to help you haha..

Al Tayer have done a nice in bed install and since you have the box id say go with that because its covered even if you was the car or it rains. I have the bed cover but that lets some water in when washing the car so i didnt want to risk it, your compressor comes with a cover so you should be okay

Sure, and you can always get a hose extension.BTW, who fitted the compressor for you?Again, great setup.Enjoy
