I'm going to guess they didn't replace anything - here's why: when you called in the problem right after service, the number #1 cause for that is almost surely bad adjustment by their mechanics. But, not to say "Yes, we screwed up." they just say "Oh, we need to replace big expensive parts but don't worry, since we're so excellent, it's under warranty..."
This way customers don't complain for the inconvenience, breaking down at the side of the road, calling in tow truck, waiting more days for repairs, which actually was a result of the workshop mistake in the first place...
However, the next question is - do they also then go ahead and bill the warranty to head office? Hmmmm.....
