Hi everyone
All being well, we will be the proud owners of a Jeep Wrangler TJ 2005 on Monday, however the wheels are sticking out somewhat and we don't think it will pass inspection in Abu Dhabi emirate. We can't afford fender flares just at the moment either, so we wonder if any of you has a spare set of original wheels we could borrow from Tuesday to Wednesday so we can get our new toy registered.
Thanks very much
Marina

Sorry M, I just gave my old ones to the scrap yard before I went away. Try Ali, if he still has his that is!

Thanks Saud - you are a real star! Will call you tomorrow after we pick up the car in Dubai, Inshallah. Plan to register it in AD on Tuesday so far. Thanks again

Well done Saud, If I was in AUH I would let you use mine but then again they are JK wheels and would not fit your "new" TJ.

Thanx for the comment Eric .. just realized that the bolt pattern is different between the TJs and the JKs!! .. Marina there is a doubt that they won't fit .. sorry!! but I will try my best to find any around that can fit your TJ .. also I checked with one of my friends in Al Ain who got the same case .. it didn't pass in Al Ain but passed in Al Hayer! so if there is no chance to find stock wheels soon .. maybe u want to try your luck in Al Hayer then!
I'll keep u posted .. salam!

Thanks Saud - you're right, they won't fit. Will try some tyre and wheel suppliers in Al Ain on Wednesday! Thanks for the help,
Marina

Why don't you speak to Taher and see if he can lend you his TJ as he doesn't use it as a daily ride and the wheels would fit.
