I went to Musaffah today to see the bulldog and the guy had repaired the hub for me, and the rest of the damage was superficial, so in light of this I am going to sell it. It does need some work done to it, but it runs and is great in the sand once the little problems are fixed. I am asking for AED8000 negotiable (a bit cheeky I know) and the repairs needed should not cost more than 2000 as I have pretty much all of the parts to do it. I also just fitted a set of JK rims and tires, it has a 3.5" lift kit, adjustabel lower control arms, AEM bruteforce air intake (non-oil system), cherrybomb style muffler, new brake pads and disks, recent oil change, new optima battery and a rancho 9000 steerign stabalizer. :D

It needs the following done as far as I can remember. :(
Engine harness needs replacing (I have the replacement), upper rear control arms (I have new ones from the states in my home), front upper control arm bushings axle side (I have them), rear trunk door needs repairing/replacing after bipins snatch strap broke and crushed in my trunk door, front axle shafts need replacing as the boots on the CV shafts broke and they ran dry of grease so they click when turning, they are fine to drive on but will eventually wear out and give way. Theere are some other little bits and peices if you want to make it perfect such as pass side window not working and drivers side locks not working electrically but they do lock/unlock with the key. I thnk that is about it, and as you can see it is a bit of a fixer upper, but once fixed it is a beats in the sand, and has taken on many of the club's beasts and come out on top!!!

LOL..the Bulldog has risen form the ashes !

How much are the scrap guys offering you for it ....it might be easier to sell to them than find a real world buyer

Technically yes, but it is still a bit dusty mate. I couldn't scrap it mate, I don't have the heart! IT is in pretty bad shape at the minute but will make somebody a very happy bunny if they give it some TLC!!! :D

What year? Manual gearbox? Where is the spare tyre located? (serious question LOL the good years have it on a swing-arm, otherwise it eats up cargo space or hangs under the vehicle) - and, did you install proper recovery points?

I'm thinking I might enjoy a fixer-upper project for this winter 8)

It's a 98 5.2 V8 mate. It has the same Magnum 318 engine as the Durango does. It's an auto. There was a VERY limited supply of swing arm tire carriers for the Grand Cherokee, I'd say 90% of them have them store in the back. It has one front factory recovery point/hook and one hook at the rear, both factory set up and very strong.

Let me know if you're interested and we can sort out everything.

You know what Jane, since I put it on Dubizzle this morning I have had about six phone calls for it. Strange for such a down trodden desert grunt eh?

They must've heard the legends! :D
