Its with a slightly heavy heart that I announce that my beloved Grand Cherokee (DUBYA) 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, is now for sale. Me and my offspring are moving back to the USA. What the beast has/doesn't have:

-Dark blue exterior color, dark grey leather interior
-V8, fully rebuilt at 195k (kilometers), but now has 208k. Was overheated before I got it, and the heads are aluminum, so the engine was completely re-done to new specs. In addition, I have the original rebuilt and decked heads, new valves, lifters, etc, all are included. Truck runs strong and perfect now, just know that you will have full spares if anything goes wrong

-4.7L V8, 5 speed automatic, good horsepower but VERY good torque, perfect for desert, loud exhaust. Stock sounding/stock exhaust also available

-Quadra Trac II 4x4 system -- very durable, instant 4x4 engagement when rear wheels slip. For those who I've been driving with, they can attest that the truck will go anywhere anybody else does.

-long list of new items since I bought it in late 2010. All less than 15k kilometers and/or 1.5 years:

-only 12k since full top end engine rebuild, which was before I bought truck. Deal also includes new decked aluminum heads, all new valves, many new sensors, switches, etc

Also new within last 18 months (since Sept '10)
-new main engine radiator
-new A/C condensor (ice cold A/C)
-new BF Goodrich #1 spec Off/Onroad tires, +1 size for desert
-2" rear and 2.5" front suspension lift
-Bilstein offroad shocks all around
-front end control arm bushings (less than 500km ago)
-battery
-starter wiring

Full dark grey leather interior, seats, power everything, multi speaker sound system MP3 adaptor, CD, and cassette

Some rust around electric moonroof (works perfectly)

2001 model, so several paint scuffs, door dings, etc, but nothing affecting overall look or performance

-heater core started leaking, so I took it out of service and its now sealed...not much need for a heater in UAE...
-also, check engine light comes on occasionally, but then goes out occasionally. Had it checked, it is code 740 (I think), torque converter lockup clutch. Above 70mph, engine will rev up slightly (about 200rpm), then go back down. So the lockup clutch may be slipping, but I've had no problems since I've owned it (just under 20k kms).

I am happy to answer any questions...

Total 208k kms (right now) but less than 20k kms since full engine rebuild (engine has latest spec).

Asking 18k Dirhams.

Yes - it's me. Obviously Blaine needs transport for a while but I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a V8 for the first time.
