Now that the summer holidays are nearly over and Al Ain is becoming populated again, I've decided to put my red Wheeler Dealer project Mustang back on the market. Here's my Dubizzle ad:

Dino, I re-posted this for you on Fbook and the old Arthur Daley Del Boy charm works a treat - "Hi Jeff, I'm very interested in the Mustang. But before I do anything, I want to get to the bank and see about a personal loan and how long that would take. Maybe Saturday take a look at the car? Thanks! I'll let you know something asap." - lady called Sally Sluder is interested so I sent her your number. Good luck with the sale.

Nothing doing. :(
I'm beginning to wonder if the Mustang gods have decided that I should keep this car.

Dino, try posting the ads- Abella, Tawam, RC, Hilton, Al Jimi notice boards - there are plenty of our American cousins landing in Al Ain just now and there must be some tempted to take it off your hands. That said, they won't have UAE licenses, visas and all yet, so maybe hold fire another couple of weeks. Then try and tempt them out of renting the ubiquitous small white chevy tin can or Hyandai with blue sponge squares on each door!

Good luck amigo.

Thanks Jeff. Already have ads posted on the Tawam, Abela, Spinneys, Al Jimi noticeboards as well as online ads in Dubizzle and Facebook.
The problem is that the market for this type of vehicle is small and my best hope is that a single young guy (maybe American) with a small budget will come along and grab it. There aren't many older guys like me who are going through a midlife crisis and wanting to own a Mustang (in my case two ;) ).

Took some more pics of this beauty yesterday. Makes a change from all the Nissans that are for sale. ;)

What's your selling price? Sorry if you already mentioned it earlier and I missed it - dubizzle link has expired.

We get new faculty at uni that like Mustangs, so I can ask around.

It's in very good condition all round and needs no work doing to it. Only has 110,500km. Asking price is 12,000 AED or nearest offer.
I had an offer of 10,500 earlier this week but the deal fell through when the buyer couldn't come up with the cash :( so I've readvertised it in Dubizzle:

My prayers were answered! That was exactly what happened and the car has finally gone for 10K AED. Pretty good deal for both me and the buyer in the end. :D
