Congratulation brother Ummar and well deserved because of your commitment to learning and improve your offroad skill. Also for bring you smile all the time
Many thanks for your wishes. This is really an unexpected surprise this EID.
I still remember my first trip in the Club with Marshal/Founder Lee. Its was my second drive in the desert in my truck and I was not so sure about how long I would continue doing this... very soon it turned out to be something myself and my family loved doing it and every Saturday... we wait for a trip to be posted.
What made me and my family addicted to this hobby is the care from Marshals/Seniors, the fun over the radio and gathering after the trip. Before joining the club, I usually visit my friend and relatives over the weekends... but now its only dedicated to UAEOFFROADERS. I feel this is the best club I have been attached to and would continue as long as I am the UAE.
Personally I would like to thank Marshal/Founder - LEE, KALEMARO | MARSHALS - Ameen, Mohannad, Farhan, Faris, Hamad, Saeed, Silvia, Satish, Arif, Hamza, Jenniah | Expert/Seniors - Fahar, Khaled al Banna, Ali Salman, MK, Raghu & Sahil. If I am not wrong I have done at least 1 trip with you all and I definitely liked and learned something from your individual style.
My wife still recalls those early days from Marshal Farhan - shouting - take care of your bumpers Ummar and Marshal Lee asking the second lead to change route for my LWB. Those are good old memories that will remain for ever. There has also been couple trip where Marshal Farhan and Marshal Mohannad has made me realize the capability myself and my ride. What more do you need to risk something when help and support is just a shout away.... It all only happen with experience and knowledgeable the Marshals of the club share with each other. Not to miss my lovely juniors and fellow offroaders, from who's mistakes we get to learn something - sorry to pull your leg guys .
Thanking one and all - I consider this upgrade as beginning of my learning curve, still a long way to go.
