Abu Dhabi TV have announced a competition being held over National Day for the Best Dressed Car, with big prizes to be won.

UAEOffroaders have been approached, inviting its members to participate.

At the moment the rules and regulations are not clear, however there is a meeting this afternoon at 5pm at the event organisers offices.

The only information I have for the time being is that they want to interview locals from the motoring community of Abu Dhabi who are participating, the actual competition is open to all.

OK, they are going to be 13 episodes knock-out, each will be a challenge between 2 cars, then a final.
The challenges are: 1) to design, customise and decorate the car in 12hrs.
2) Drive the cars through a course that they are designed for (4x4's will go offroading, sports cars through a timed circuit, muscle cars on drag track)

Sir since the last post I have little news as nobody was free to attend the meeting. However, the guy heading the production team has assured me that he will contact me early next week to discuss whether or not we can participate.
