Had an amazing photoshoot with a real photo-artist: Sermed Altaf (http://www.sermedaltaf.com)

This is one thing I learnt (a bit too pro for most people, but interesting)

Setting up side flashes to direct light at the subject from the sides gives a rounded view because the light doesn't come from the front only.

Check this out:

See how the sunlight comes from behind, to give the effect, but also how the driver's face and the front of the buggy - which should be dark because the light from the sun is behind - are lit up nicely.

This is how he set up the shot:

Amazing thread PR - a decent DSLR is on my Christmas wish list but sadly it's lower down than a Cherokee and Apple iMac. I used to chase sunsets and good views in the valleys and got a few good shots in the old days of 35mm but now resort to a decent Panasonic Lumix superzoom compact. Just put a few vehicle shots in my own album on here but none are really special. There is one I'm pleased with which is Outlaw in his bue Grand Cherokee and Maple leaf flag perched on top of a hill with rolling dunes behind. Thanks for the tips. Jeff.
