Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2010 - Volenteers Needed

Guys.

Is anyone interested in volenteering for support duties for the upcomign Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge that will be held from 2 April to 7 April 2011.

They are lookign for two people to man check points along the route.

Interested parties please post intent here.

Keep in mind the check points are in Liwa and the race is run on week days so you will have to take time off from work if interested.

Please let me know by Sunday evening.

Ye going to be even bigger this year. I am alredy doing the scrutineering and prologue in Abu Dhabi for the desert challenge and maybe the final strech in ad on last day inshallah. Always Fun to do !!

AND it's another excuse to go to the Liwa area, which I truly love - be my 6th visit in 3 months if they will have me!

The event involvs going to LIWA the evening of 2 April, stay overnight in a camp and do the passage control marshalling for Sunday. Should finish around 4.00 PM and then you get to go back home.

The bonus is that you wil get invited to teh prize distribution dinner !

Absolutely! Saturday/Sunday works well for me but any of the other days would be fine too

Congrats Marina...you are now regestered and an official Marshal for teh 2011 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge.

Please pack a toothbrush and be ready to camp out in Hameem in a tent or if thinsg go well in a sumptous room at Qasar Al Sarab on 2nd April.

Further details to eb shared as they coem in.

Will you be bringing the FJC or Xazu

Not sure which car I will take - what do you suggest? FJC comfier, but it is "cooler" to be seen driving Xazu!
