As much as i hate saying this -> Jeep is Excellent offroad, but if you want comfort, good fuel economy, not noisy,.... then not a jeep. i use my jeep wrangler on a daily basis, but i accept all these things and am happy with it. As they said, best choices would be for daily use - offroad/onroad :

Jeep cherokee
Jeep Grand cherokee
Nissan patrol
Toyota landcruiser
Toyota Fj
Toyota Prado
Nissan Exterra
Nissan Pathfinder
Nissan exterra
......many more

And as they said, all the car choices have good aspects and bad aspects (bumper clearance, fuel economy, maintenance, desert capabilities,.....)

Agree 100%, unless of course it's an AWD with a 2 litre engine and low bumpers, then it's the car's fault! ;)

Tanjev wrote:there is no best car there is only a personal choice!

And which Toyota, which chevy which etc,?

If you want one Car for both fields it will be only a compromise, medium abbility off and on road. Better buy a proper offroad car and for daily use a proper road car!

You already got the word of wisdom from Tanjev but still searching and at the end you are convinced there is nothing special it is only personal choice like tyres (a very controversial topic),hehehehe
