I am looking at upgrading the standard headlights on my FJ to Bi Xenon Projector headlights. I was doign that night drive with Khaled in his Red Pajero which has OE projector lights and his beams were awsome.
Now there are horror stories on the net with regards to converting standard headlights to HID, both legal issues and safety issues for other road users.
The question is does anyone sell complete round B1 Xenon Projector headlight assemblys that can be a straight swap for the original headlights on the FJ.
The logic is that if they are purpose built for replacing OE headlights they might be designed in a proper fashion, be legal and not blinding for other road users.
Have looked on the net but all I could find were conversion kits that convert your OE lights to HID and not complete HID assemblies.
Please advice ?

It really depends mostly on your stock headlight lense set up mate. You WILL need projector headlight boxes otherwise you will end up with a very bright looking, but not very well spread beam pattern. If you can, or do already have, find projector lenses for the FJ (should be available from AFM) then you will just need to find HID kits that fit the FJ. There is a shop on Salam that claims to have good kits fro around 4-600. It is the first shop you come to when you come around the corner. Not sure if it is still there as some changes have been made there but they did have HID kits a while ago.
As for blinding other road users, just make sure you angle them properly so they shine on the road and not directly ahead, especially seen as you are lifted. I can't see it being a legal issue as most new cars come with them as standard equipment now.

Tony....I don't want to convert existing lights but REPLACE existing lights with B1 Xenon Projectore headlights.
converting stock lights to HID is illegal in the UAE so if you know who sells ready to install Bi Xenon lights

its a standard halogen headlight so thats why I want to change for the bi xenon projectors

Let me ask one of my friends who is having FJ i remember that he changed his head lights
I will drop him a message lets hope he replies ASAP But iam not sure its the ones u want
Another idea u may like it for FJ its easy to get roof lights unlike the pajero and i believe it will be cheaper and higher......

I agree with roof-mounted lights instead of changing out stock beams - better height so they point down and +1 on looks!
Online you'll find plenty: for example, http://www.xtralights.com/fjcruiser_1.aspx
EDIT: another possibility, though I doubt on a modern car like the FJ it would work, but for my 1994 Elsie, which had very weak lights, only changing the bulbs made a big difference. Something like this: http://www.fjcruiseraccessory.com/fj-cr ... -bulb.html Excellent improvement for me.
As I said, for a newer car this might not make a difference but it's another idea for you.

Another idea and its not expensive
I have seen lights installed On a steel bar which should be attached to the car front pumber
Its not that steel bars like accessories but its only pike a holder for the lights that is great at night
And btw even me was suffering that night from the darkness
My lights were great horizintaly but for dunes ...... I didnt know how high are the dunes i was just hitting them heheheh
That why iam thinking abt that bar
Now i knew why u were trying to climb one vertical hill that night wasif heheh u didnt c it
