Info please

Hi all
True to form, Mike has gone home and his car has died. completely dead will not jump start, think needs new battery. Just moved up to Abu Dhabi so need to know contact for garage that can come and sort it out ASAP. Any info gratefully received.

There is a number in dubai which comes every 10 min in the radio but not sure about AD
Its 800247365
But car should jump start even if battry is completly dead
I would say call recovery they have that powerful charger
It worked for me before

Jane, if the battery is REALLY dead (ie shorted out internally) it won't take a charge or allow the car to be jump started. They can just die instantaneously - and in extreme cases it may trash the alternator, too.

Sorry Jane havent been on the forum for a while. Is it all sorted out? if so good and in the future if you need any assistance then dont hesitate to call me. i do car recovery even on tarmac hehehe loooool. :D
