my brother recently bought a 2009 wrangler. we took it to desert two times, both the time hot oil warning came up after driving for some time.we had to stop the car for some time and start again. the previous owner says he has already fixed the auto tranny cooler from the dealer within the warranty period.

what could be the issue, how can we fix it and where? appreciate your comments.

by the way it was pretty much easy route, we never had to put the gear in low or accelerate hardly.

This is a common problem but can be easily fixed by the dealer
