Hi all,

My name is Arash and I just joined the club. I've been living in Dubai for almost 2 years and been wanting to learn how to drive in the desert and experience the desert in a new way. I'm driving a bright yellow Hummer H3 so I'm sure you'll see me coming :)

Best,
Arash

Hello :)

Hi,
I'm Tarik and I came from France about 10month ago.
My first car here in UAE was a 2013 4wd hilux (not a joke !), I did several trips in the desert and unlike many people think it is very capable of offroad and I really had great fun with it. Since two month I drive a 2014 Prado and tried it twice in the dunes even if it is more powerful and comfortable in the sand (and also no more jokes or hours of negotiation to enter emirates palace :x) I do not get as much fun as I had with the Hilux so I hope with your advices and technics I will learn how to take as fun as possible from it.
I can't wait to join you for your next rooky trip !

Hello Gerald
Welcome to the bestest offroading gang in this part of the woods. The Wrangler is an awesome machine and is probably the most suitable for offroading. Keep your eyes peeled for trips listed under "UAEOFFROADERS OUTINGS" thread and register on a trip.
