Gulzar wrote:Hi Guys,
Call me Gulzar. I work in Abu Dhabi electrical utility company.

I drive a blue Pajero. This is first 4x4 and it is brand new, just done 5000km. The Gulf News Fun Drive was my first ever off road event. I am glad I noticed one of the club stickers during the drive. Count me in for off road events in the near future.

Since I am a newbie to offroading, I welcome all the suggestions, pointers advice I can get. Thanks in advance.
Welcome Gulzar, glad our advertising campaign is starting to show success. Out of interest, which car did you see the sticker on?

Again welcome, and glad you have made the right choice.

Tony :p

Hi Tony,

Frankly telling, I do not remember what makes I saw. When I came to the camp, I was waiting in middle row to inflate my tyres at about 5:00 PM when I saw this car in the right side row with the sticker and Abu Dhabi registration plates (which lead me to sign up).

I had seen couple of other vehicles too with the sticker during the course of the day, but did not notice the registration plates then.

Hi Gulzar.

It was most definitely me you saw in my silver FJ with teh Abu Dhabi plate and the club sitckers on the rear and teh side.

Its not important who you saw but the fact that you are now a member of what is fast turning out to be the most popular offroading club in the UAE.

Look forward to meeting you in the sands soon.

Too right, no matter who you saw, it matters what you saw.

We are definately growing fast, and I can garauntee that you will enjoy your stay with us, we do not play games, we are all here for the same goal. Safe, clean, educational desert driving for all ages and skill levels. (Unless you own an FJ then you are exempt from having fun) ;) :p :D

Hey guys! I'm Edmund, an architect based in abu dhabi. I have always been fascinated with off roading so much I always look for new adventures and keen to join a group of people whom I share the same interest... I am so much looking forward to gain new tricks on how to get along with the desert and at the sAme time have great fun. My other hobby if not on land is scuba diving. I have been all over the UAE and some parts of Oman. I have had my H3 for almost 2 years.
