Hello everyone,

My name is Eloy Rodriguez. I've just purchased a jeep wrangler (short base). I'm new to the off roading scene in the UAE. I've lived in the middle east for 4 years now and I'm finally making it a focus this year to spend more time for myself and less time working hence the new purchase.
So would love to get to know you all and tips on what essential bits of equipment I should buy so I can join you on trips.
Thanks looking forward to meeting you all!

Heeyyy Folks!

My name is Talal but you could call me"Tee".I'm a fresh pre-driving member currently as I'm yet to obtain my UAE DL

Yet I've been driving all sorts of vehicles for the better part of 2 decades including a large truck!

I've been on several off and on road trips with the Club, acting as trip photographer

And I enjoyed every bit and every second

I work as a Corporate Copywriter and Translator at RAK Free Zone

I'm currently riding with my work colleague Mahadi on his wonderful FJ till I get my own car

What car do u guys think is best for a junior offroader?

Fortuner ok?

Welcome Tee... Glade to know you are already participating and enjoying our trips as a passenger. Yes for a JO - Fortuner - V6 4.0L would be ideal. Alternatively, a Nissan Xterra would also be a good option. Welcome to the family and good luck for your UAE DL.
Best regards

Hiya

My name is Konstantin, living in Al Ain. I am here through Denasora (Jane) who took me out to the desert first and right after I bought a short Jeep Wrangler that I love. My first hobby is definitely golf but I decided not to play on weekends this year so I'll have more time to spend on the sand. I hope we will meet soon and have great fun together!

Welcome, Konstantine, it's great having you with us! Who knows, maybe we can do some 4x4 golfing on the dunes - just don't drop your car into a very tight hole!
